Position: Olympic Programme Commission Manager, International Olympic Committee
Ansley’s main responsibilities include the organisation of and reporting for the annual meeting of the Olympic Programme Commission, the body tasked with the review of the future programme of Olympic sports, and supporting the Commission’s discussions around the future of the Olympic programme with Organizing Committees and International Federations.
Ansley started at the IOC in January 2015, after having spent 7 years working in a consulting role with two sports marketing agencies, Teneo Sports and Helios Partners, both of which had a particular focus on the candidature development for potential Olympic cities, International Federation strategy and advice, and sponsorship services. She worked on candidatures for the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games, as well as wrestling’s campaign to return to the Olympic Games.
Ansley is a former university athlete in Athletics, with a specialisation in cross-country and distance events on the track.
